Part E Technical Requirements

Please note that successful applicants will be sent a stage plan and technical details form to complete with their contract. However please advise us now if your act has any particular technical requirement beyond what would be considered a normal number of DIs and microphones, etc. For example, you might have an unusual instrument requiring special micing or special lighting requirements, or a requirement for an extended performance space, etc

Part F Availability

The festival commences on Friday at 1pm and finishes Sunday at 6pm. Please specify when you are available each day. Please note that in order to minimise the problems in scheduling performances, we look more favourably upon performers who are available for the entire duration of the festival and don't place too many restrictions on their availability.

Part G Volunteering

The festival is run by volunteers. It is really appreciated and highly regarded if booked performers also offer to help during the festival. We are always looking for MC's and venue managers in particular.

Part H Accommodation

Accommodation and billets are very limited. The Festival would really appreciate as many performers camping as possible. The campsite is within the festival site and vehicles are able to be parked adjacent to sites. Powered sites are available but these cannot be booked. We do reserve a few sites for disabled patrons.

Part I Remuneration

What is your Fee?

Please include all travel costs and GST (if applicable) in the fee. Please bear in mind that ours is a small, self-funded, not-for-profit festival run by volunteers when considering what fee to ask.

Tickets for partners and children are provided but the Festival does not provide any drink or food hospitality. The festival will provide accommodation either as camping with all amenities (preferred) or billeted with local residents (limited)

Part J Advertising and Promotion

If selected:

Would you permit a recorded track for inclusion on a Festival CD for promotional radio use?

Would you permit a recorded track considered for inclusion on a Festival CD to be sold to assist the Festival fundraising effort (this track would be offered free of royalties and payments)

We may plan to undertake television, radio or internet broadcast promotion opportunites that may benefit the performers and the festival. Unfortunately there is no guarantee that there is time to view these recordings before use. Are you happy to be recorded?
