"This has been one of the highlights of our folkie tour so far this year and one I would certainly recommend to those of you who have been meaning to try it out. So book your accommodation for next year and secure your spot in the Jewel of the Sapphire Coast" P.J. Whyte (a first-time attendee at the festival) writing in the May 2011 issue of Trad & Now

As a result of a very professional survey conducted by Frank Wilson, we received the best (both in quantity and quality) feedback to date. All comments and suggestions are taken into consideration in the planning of future festivals. Two areas that featured prominently in the feedback was the long grass in the camping area and the reduced time for the Poets' Breakfasts. We usually slash the grass in the camping area but this year heavy rain immediately prior to the festival both promoted the growth and prevented the mowing taking place. We had to crimp back the time allocated to the Poets' Breakfasts to try and solve some scheduling problems with other acts. We thought we had compensated the poets by adding a Poetry Concert and a Poetry Workshop to the program but appreciate this does not necessarily cater for the number of poets wishing to perform. We will definitely reinstate the Poets' Breakfasts to their full 2hrs each day. We are planning to make some other changes to the overall program which will address a number of scheduling issues. Generally, feedback was very positive and supportive with some very useful suggestions for improvement. Thank you to everyone who contributed feedback and of course to the many volunteers who helped to make it another successful and enjoyable festival.
